Athanasios is a very experienced physiotherapist who specializes in musculoskeletal injuries, spinal conditions, biomechanics and manual therapy. He has worked extensively both in the UK and abroad, and he has supported Cambridge Rugby physio team at National One Level.
His professional journey started in Athens, Greece, where he graduated with a first-class honors degree in Physiotherapy in 2006.
In the last five years working in the UK, Thanasis developed his hands-on skills, integrating advanced Maitland and Mulligan Manual techniques, Western Medical Acupuncture and Extracorporeal Shockwave therapy.
Thanasis is a member of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (CSP), Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP) and Pain Physiotherapy Association (PPA).
On the weekends, you can find Thanasis either playing football at the local club in Milton Keynes or swimming lengths. He also enjoys singing with his beloved guitar at open mic evenings.
He has worked as a part of a multidisciplinary team of Surgeons and MSK Consultants, providing post-operative treatment and pain management.
