David is a senior Physiotherapist who graduated from the University of Birmingham with a BSc in Sport & Exercise Science and an MSc in Physiotherapy.
David strongly emphasises the importance of exercise and movement-based treatment to optimise several aspects of physical and mental well-being. He utilises a variety of manual therapy techniques to act as a tool to get patients moving well again.
After graduating he completed his clinical rotations in the NHS before specialising in the assessment and treatment of Musculoskeletal conditions. He has worked in several team sports environments including semi-professional Rugby and professional football, currently working part-time with the Academy at Chelsea Football club. David also treats a number of individual Team GB athletes from a range of sports.
Honing his skills in both hospital and sporting settings allowed David to guide the rehabilitation of a diverse range of patients. From helping patients in intensive care to walk again through to international athletes aiming to stand on the podium, and everything in between. Where the specific treatment will differ and be tailored to the individual his treatment philosophy will always remain the same…. striving for ambitious yet realistic functional movement goals!
