What should I wear to my appointment?
It is best if gentlemen wear comfortable underpants or boxer shorts and ladies a back-fastening bra and pants. Please avoid all-in-one under-garments or elastic girdles.

You can bring shorts and loose-fitting clothes to your appointment. We always want you to be comfortable, but do keep in mind that your practitioner may need to exam more than just the area of pain (for example, we might need to exam your back when you come in with leg pain).
Will I get treatment on my first visit?
Yes! Once your practitioner has gone through a medical case history, examined and diagnosed your injury, he or she will go through their findings with you and then with your permission, start your treatment.

In rare cases, where there is a complicated medical history, treatment might be started on your second session. We recommend filling out the 'medical questionnaire' well before your treatment date, to give your practitioner enough time to go through it and speed up the process.
What happens on my follow-up appointment?
The standard follow-up appointment is 45 minutes long. Which typically involves short follow-up questions on how your treatment has been going, as well as any changes in your symptoms. Your practitioner would at this point re-examine to make sure everything is going on the right direction and then continue with the treatment that was started on the first appointment.
Do I need a longer follow-up appointment?
Sometimes when the case is quite complicated (multiple injuries or chronic issues), we would recommend a longer follow-up appointment. Your practitioner would usually discuss this with you on your first section.

We also recommend booking the 60 minutes follow-up, if you are seeing a practitioner for the first time at the clinic. This gives your practitioner time to re-examine you and provide an effective treatment.
Can I pay for someone else's appointment?
Of course! The quickest and easiest way is to pay online when booking the appointment. Alternatively, we can send you an invoice to pay online or by phone if you prefer. We do need the payment to be made before the start of the appointment.
